Others tend to see me as petty, conniving, manipulative, argumentative, defensive, greedy, and needlessly antagonistic. I see myself as focused, effective, efficient, influencing, shrewd, tactical, and direct. Whenever I manage to gain control of a situation, my solutions are swift and brutal. Unfortunately everyone else is convinced that granting me such power is "a bad thing" and often conspire to keep it out of my hands.
Making the art
I've had a few questions about how I go about making the pieces I've posted here, so rather than re-tell this over and over in comments, I put it here. Clever, huh?
Everything is digital, except the occasional thumbnail sketch that I do to help remember an idea if I can't work on it when I think of it. I usually start with a 3D app like Bryce, Carrera, Daz|Studio, or Poser. I think I like the rendering of Carrara best. Sometimes I'll have to model or make a texture for an object, sometimes not. For modelling I use/have used Blender, Carrara, Hexagon, Milkshape, and an older version of 3D Studio Max. For working on textures I use Photoshop. After a LOT of test renders I'll get something I can live with and then I move the image to Photoshop where various amounts of manipulation and/or painting occurs. And that's about it really.
